Aapda Rakshak is a disaster and incident reporting mobile application developed and maintained by AGiSAC,
Government of Himachal Pradesh, for reporting emergencies, public safety concerns, and disaster-related incidents.

when users use the application.
1. Information We Collect
- Name, mobile number, email address, department and designation (where applicable) provided during registration.
- GPS location information for identifying incident locations.
- Photographs and videos uploaded by users.
- Incident details voluntarily submitted by users.
- Technical information such as device type, browser information, IP address and application logs required for secure operation.
2. How We Use the Information
- To process incident reports.
- To identify the location of reported incidents.
- To facilitate response by concerned authorities.

3. Location Information
The application uses GPS location information solely for identifying
and mapping incident locations reported by users.
4. Camera and Media Access
The application may request access to the device camera and storage
to capture or upload photographs and videos related to incidents.

Information submitted through the application is shared only with authorized Government departments,
disaster management authorities, emergency response agencies and other authorized personnel solely for
disaster management and public service purposes.
6. Data Security
Appropriate technical and administrative safeguards are implemented
to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure,
modification or destruction.
7. Data Retention
Incident reports and associated information may be retained as required
for operational, administrative, legal and analytical purposes.
8.Permissions Used
- Location – to identify the incident location.
- Camera – to capture photographs of incidents.
- Photos and Videos – to upload supporting evidence.
- Internet – to submit reports securely.
- Notifications – to send important application notifications (where applicable).
9. Data Deletion Request
Users may request deletion of their personal information, where applicable and subject to legal or operational requirements, by contacting the official support email provided above.
10. Children's Privacy
The application is intended for general public use and does not knowingly
collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization.
